Disable checkin or checkout on specific dates (but allow bookings over the period)

Hi there,

 

Does anyone know if there is a way to block check-in or check-out on specific dates, but still allow bookings over the period? (example - I cannot welcome guests or check-out guests on the 23rd and 24th June, but I can still have guests staying over the period, say from the 22nd to the 25th June).

Any help would be much appreciated!

Dear Fernando,

You can set minimum stay before those dates to be 2-3 days, therefore if someone wants to book those dates, they will need to book at least 2-3 nights to be able to have the select dates for themselves.

This way you can do the cancel out, but make sure that you calculate things correctly as it can lead to weird situations if you don't set it up correctly.

Hi there!

That's an easy one!

You can contact Booking.com and ask them to add the Block Arrival and Block Departure tool to your calendar. So guests can stay over but they can not check in or out.

Go to Inbox -> Booking.com message and send them a message, it doesn't take long for them to add it.

Hmm... More Hidden Features... it would be nice if this was just 'standard'...

How many people would know they could 'ask' for this to be turned on ?

Would anyone care to 'guess' why some features are hidden ?

if the 'code' exists - why not make it a standard feature ?

Why not automatically allow users access to more features directly,
without the need to ask for them ?

I'm currently looking at another platform - and setting a date as
'No Check In' / 'No Check Out' - is a standard feature.

Also - the charge a lot less than 15%
