Hotels with public bars and restaurants - close?

Can anybody tell me whether pubs with bed and breakfast rooms have to close under last nights instructions from the Government to close due to Coronavirus?

This morning I have looked at these, and hotels in my area with public bars and restaurant facilities do not appear to have withdrawn their adverts or published anything helpful on their own websites.

Last week I asked Booking.com to allow me to promote my business, saying we are a small, rural and isolated B&B, with no public facilities, and therefore low-risk for anyone needing to travel for work (or even take a walking holiday).  Booking.com refused.

There seem to be very few places open in my area (though it is still early season and most local attractions are likely to be closed until Summer).  Maybe their owners are afraid of infection?

So what are the rules?

Follow local advice, and stay open if you want to.

What does promotions have to do with BdC?

I'd like to be able to say something about how small, quiet, rural and isolated we are, which has got to help to make us less of an infection risk compared with a big, busy hotel.

As far as I can see, the only place I could make this point would be in the description, but Booking.com will not allow me to mention it.

Any suggestions?
