How to block guests from certain countries

Hello I wonder how can I make my apartment not  visible in specific country? (I want to avoid bookings from that country)

Thanks,

Hi there!

Welcome to the Forum.

Unfortunately I doubt that Booking.com will make such an option available as they are an internaitonal reservations site. It also does raise quite a lot of questions in a "moral" clause which I don't think they would want to face.

You can maybe ask Booking.com to just add to the "Fine Print" of your property that you do not accept clients from a specific country.. but remember that they will probably still be able to book and you will need to honor each booking you receive.

Best of luck!

Rasist or not, I know in my country guests from certain country in 80% cases make damages to the property, so it is a big stress for me as a host when I receive the reservation from this country.

Hatidza ,

The only suggestion I have to give is to send Booking.com feedback based on facts.

So on your Extranet home page, way down at the bottom, click on Send feedback. And there you can send them a nice letter. Add the reservations where you had trouble and advise them that based on that you hope they will add some tool that will help you avoid bookings from said country.

Best of luck!

If you don't want your guests to damage your property than the best option is to ask for a deposit to be held against any damages. Speak to booking.com about it so they can write it down under the fine prints.

I don't think you can choose which country can book to your hotel as it falls under discrimination.

Good luck!
