Messages to guests from booking.com

Has anyone else had problems causing confusion with guests 

from messages being sent to them about checking their payment ??

Hi John,

 

No its the first i am hearing of it myself.

 

Typically the legit emails are tagged in a particular way.

 

It does not surprise me that their are fake booking messages, but only legit ones will come from the booking.com domain.



a common mistake is seeing something like this as the sender and skim reading it as valid:

 

Booking.com Notification <booking.com-notification@bookiing.com>

or <booking.com@bookiing.com>



Its a very common tactic, this is why there have been such a increase in Cyber Awareness inthe last 3 years.
