Not disclosing addresses of homestays

There is a real safety concern with publicly publishing addresses of homestay properties. These addresses should be confidential until a customer has booked a stay. We had a man walk into our home off of the street to see the rooms. He asked my teenage daughter if she was home alone and then asked if just the two of us live here.

Booking.com is a hotel booking platform.  Look at it from the guests perspective, as a guest I would think you would always want to see the location of a hotel you stay at.  As a homestay you are switching into a more professional area with advertising on booking.com and not the same as Airbnb at all.

instead there is an alternative platform for HomeStays

I just checked and they do in deed obsfucate the location with a circle over map, i.e. the  address is not shown, just a general indication of where it is.
