Actively promote your property when you think people are least interested and you might be pleasantly surprised at the number of future bookings you could receive during any period of travel restriction. Guests book ahead current travel restrictions should not prevent you from behind proactive in hosting your property.

I have many friends that are already planning their summer vacation...especially families that have to find the right dates to suit everyone...

The biggest lesson is never rely on Booking.com. They will let you down. They will continuously ignore all the errors and faults in their systems and in their staff training and responses.

Spread your bookings across multiple booking channels. It'll make life much easier.
