About the rooms name

I would like to to add some specific room name to the all of our rooms, that our clients could identify them not only in a usual way (standard room or deluxe etc...) but we also need them to see an alternative name (BIRCH, SKY, etc.). All of our rooms are specific and the clients are very confused when they can't see the name of the room in booking.com. We asked you about that long time ago, maybe you could find some way how to put these names somewhere... ?

Yes a feature that has been requested a long time ago.

 

For now you simply cannot, by design a Room Type is how they are grouped.

 

But what you can do is simply add a note to their reservation when placed to internally indicate assignment for that date.

 

Maybe add a photo per room with text overlay for each name, so if you get a request first before booking you can check availability.

 

or just do it on a First Come First Served basis.

 

Or what I did was to just pick a different preset room type name and set inventory of 1, mark that room type internal name 'BIRCH:, so bookings made against that room type were only for that one room.

 

Not ideal but it works

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
