Can guests change review score

Hi everyone, guests who where at our apartment by mistake gave as bad review score for cleanliness.  After we contacted them to give as a feedback on that bad score, other scores where 10s, they sad that they thought that they gave as all 10s. They won’t to change but don’t know how. How can they fix it?

Hi! Marija,

Your guests have to call your local booking.com and ask them to resend them the review questionnaire again, explaining to them that they have done mistakes in review.

Booking.com will resend your guests the review email and your guests can make a new review.

That happends a lot to us as well.  Guest still in the property and so proudly saying that they left great review and very thankful. I am looking and see some numbers 7.5 and I am asking what was wrong . They very surprised and saying we selected all 10.  

 

So, many, many times it happends and I didn't believe at the beginning, but there must be something about it .  And always the same number appears 7.5 when gusts trying to select 10... not sure why...

Sorry to hear that.

Unfortunately with the new review system most of our partners have similar problems.

I don’t remember who has mentioned that when guests receive questionnaire in their mobile...review scale is only shown to 7,5...they don’t see after that so they think 7.5 is excellent....

Maybe you can ask a guest about this...

Ah   Now I realize  my Japanese guests had the same !

Dear Ella,

Having this  in mind next time try to explain your guests this review problem so your review wont drop down.

I think we have to keep on informing our guests about the new review system to avoid low reviews...

Did you see the ban for seasonal accommodation in Greece???

Stay inside is the only cure....

Hi Maria, 

it is right! They did mentioned that they did it on the mobile and only 7.5 was showing or scroll to 10 was not allowing.

This is mobile application is an issue and has to be fixed.

Ban on seasonal tourist accommodation from 15.3.2020 to 30.4.2020.

Unfortunately this virus is very dangerous and I think we all have to stay inside....it seems the only solution...
