cancelation of a guest

hi there. i have a problem. i just upload the house in the site. and a reservation came as fast as possible. my problem is that i put some to rent the house that i will renovate the house. so i cant put guest that day. the thing is that i booked those days to some people so i have to cancel it because we will renovate the house. i havent put a credit card so i havent take any money. i have send many messages to booking but they dont repley. they repley once with a phone call but i didnt catch the phone so theu hang up. send more messages but they dont replay.. i send a message to the guest and neither them reiply. please helppp

The best thing to do in that situation is actually use the message guest feature and state the unavailability.

And that you will start the cancelation process and they will receive an email to click on anaction to complete the process and that you patiently await  them to do so.

Also mention , if they provide alternative dates you will happily check for them.


Usually I find this works very well and no penalty to you.


Of course if the guest decides to ring BdC instead and complain then they might insist you pay for them to be reassigned to another host, should their cost be higher.
