Few amenity details in Booking,com descriptions

My wife and I rent the lower-level of our house, featuring two guest bedrooms, a full-bathroom, TV lounge and private outdoor balcony.  We are not a standard hotel, nor are we a youth hostel where travelers must bring their own bed sheets and bath towels.

 

Occasionally, I am asked by pre-booked guests if we provide basic bathroom amenities, such as bath towels, shower soap, shampoo, hair dryer, etc.  Although our bathroom photo shows many items.  Or guests will write in their review, they were surprised and delighted to find these supplied bathroom items.

 

When I registered our rental guestroom space on Booking,com last March, I clicked ALL the applicable amenities we provide our guests.  However, not all listed items are visible on my Booking,com webpage for those deciding to stay with us before making their reservation.

 

Since Booking,com hosts (like me) cannot write their own property and guestroom descriptions, how can I post on my webpage we provide many bathroom items?

Dear Don, in your Extranet tab Property in the amenities section there is a huge selection of amenities...

Have you added there all the amenities???

That is my problem:  I can click all the amenities on the Extranet, but they are not showing in the "public view" for potential guests to see on my Booking,com webpage.

I cannot copy and paste my Booking,com weblink here.

 

But my property name is:  Meadows Lair  in Murphys, California, USA

 

Please look to see if my offered amenities include:  bath towels, shampoo, hair dryer, clothes iron, etc.

 

The more important issue is:  My future guests cannot view my listed amenities, while I can.

Don I checked it.

No, bath towels, shampoo etc. are not included in your facilities.

Maybe you should try again to add them and make sure saving has been made.

If you don’t succeed maybe you should have to call your local BDC office and ask them to support you.

Free toiletries means soap, shampoo etc. .

Your place is exceptional with an amazing view to nature.

You can have an automatic message that is sent on booking comfirmation to cover these things.

 

We send directions etc a few days before the guest arrives. In that message, we mention the check-in and other info like towels etc

ISLE OF WIGHT:  It sounds like a nice idea.

 

But I want future guests to know ALL the amenities we offer BEFORE they choose to make and pay their reservation with us.

 

When people are searching online for local lodging in my area, I do not want them to guess if we do or don't supply basic bathroom/shower items for their convenience.  Potential guests might choose to stay in a nearby hotel, rather than take a chance on staying in a private home (like ours).

On my "public view" Booking,com property webpage, I cannot find bathroom amenities listed under the Facilities tab or elsewhere.

 

My webpage and list of services I provide should be made extremely easy and simple for the most novice computer users.  Most of our guests are retired seniors, who are not all "social media" savvy.

 

But I will call the Booking,com support staff for help.  Thanks again.

Apparently you need to tick EVERY box even if it is a "no".  Had similar issues as seeing other properties stating they had this that and the other yet mine showed little to none.  Now have gone through all sections under property tab which have tick boxes and it has sort of worked.

However, what I don't get is that BDC ask you all about your property, area etc. but the guests can not see it so what is the point?  At least on AirBnB guests do see your own blurb.
