Help needed from Booking.com to help us partners financially through Covid19

Hi, I would like to know if there is any plans for Booking.com to help partners out financially for cancelled bookings made after 14th March due to Covid 19? The only way a lot of your partners, including us, to remain open is for Booking.com to help us out financially. Perhaps give us a percentage of our cancelled bookings from the 14th March and return 8% of your commission to us partners to help remain in business.

"Perhaps give us a percentage of our cancelled bookings from the 14th March and return 8% of your commission to us partners to help remain in business. " this will never happen and we will have to rely on local govt handouts. Remember booking.com will not get paid so it will need to come from the "inside" - can you imagine the cost of all those 000's of bookings!

Hi jaybeegee. I find if you don’t ask or make any suggestions in life you won’t get anything. I think Booking.com would definitely have enough money to help out their partners like us in this time of crises as other booking platforms are doing. If it wasn’t for its partners they wouldn’t exist at all. We have helped them make profit over the years. I just think it’s time they help us out financially to try to keep our businesses going to make them and us more money in the future.  What would be your suggestion?
