Host should to be able to instantly cancel a booking
As a host why can't I cancel a booking directly. I recently had a booking that was not compliant with our booking requirements and was not able to cancel this booking. Therefore lost the availability to accept another booking. Apparently after contacting Booking.com trying to get the booking cancelled I was advised that the booking was made via a Booking.com partner and Booking.com would have to contact the partner who in turn would have to contact the booker. I was not notified that the booking had or had not been cancelled until a week later when I tried to check the bookers credit card details. It is not right that a booker can book but the host can't cancel the booking. There needs to be an instant booking cancellation available to the host.
