How to handle guests who age falls below the age limit on house rules

Guest reserved, booked , read and confirmed house rules. After numerous messages to the guest finally provided drivers license for reservation and the individual is below the required booking age that is outlined in the house rules.

I am not comfortable with this booking because guest clearly knew the age limit and waited until the check in day to provide this information.

The guest booked a non refundable reservation so what is the best approach?

Hmm how can that be if they have a drivers license?

You have not even said what min age is, but then it's 2021, and ageism is a thing,

so think bigger picture,... is it worth cancelling and only charging first night.?

Or void due to breach, and notify them right now, and then click Request Cancel , then option 2, this triggers, full refund if they prepaid BdC.

That's 2 perspectives,  and it's very likely they never even read it, and only skimmed it.

Kind regards

The age limit to reserve my home is 25 yrs and is clearly written in my house rules. Which the guest read and acknowledge and provided agreement confirmation. The guest provided the indentification at the last minute after multiple attempts past message to acquire this document in order to finalize the reservation was notified of the age difference  immediately once the identification was provided.

The guest agreed that the reservation was booked with full awareness that they did not meet the age requirement for my home.

Ageism is a none factor for this issue.

I've provided the guest with a full refund for this reservation cancellation.

Best Regards.
