Only 1 Room Left

I couldn't understand why I was getting so few bookings suddenly from Booking.com. Then a couple arrived and said that they really wanted a double  but were told I had only a twin left, I put them in a vacant double. I checked with other owners and found they were having the same problem. I spoke to a Booking.com employee and it seems that you now have to repeat all the information in the exranet that you have with your Channel Manager or they will only list one room. So owner/managers if you want more bookings check your reservations calendar, you might get a nasty surprise. Denise Ramage

Hi Denise


Yes some C.M. provider only deal with basic API functions so not all the details or features of each platform can be directly controlled by the external 3rd party CM platform.


Which is why when it is being setup the IT guy or person doing so should sit down with the owner to do a walk through of each primary OTA channel website to make sure nothing it missing or incomplete.
