We’ve resolved an issue with your invoice payment history

We recently became aware of a technical issue in the extranet that meant the information displayed about your invoice and payment history may not have been up to date. We’re happy to let you know we’ve now resolved the issue, and the status of your invoices and recent payments is now updated.

 

You don’t need to contact us about this. We’d like to reassure you that our internal payment systems weren’t affected at any point, and our records of your invoices and payments remained accurate throughout. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Hello everyone, just a little confused here.  Our last guest review came out as a 9, but all the questions asked about our property, scored an outright 10 for each answer.

Why would you then only end up with a 9, which shows in the left hand corner above the guests review?

Welcome to the bizare world of the BdC Rating system.

 

This has already been debated since 9 months ago and no sign of any changes , some examples of ongoing topics on it:

 

 

But perspective is also important, if you are getting 7-9, then you really do not have much to be concerned with.

 

You will see as you digest those two links above  some getting irate about it all to the point of giving other partners abuse. Like somehow thats ok and will make it change when it will not.

Hello Brooke, thank you for your prompt reply, much appreciated.  In saying that though, why does the system have to be so complex? Surely with the score we are given, should be the final score that the property has rightfully earned.  Sorry, I have read your links, but even then, it just sounds so complicated.

Indeed, I know exactly what you mean, we all reacted the same when it first happened.

Bewilderment, rage, is the captain at the helm? lol

 

Apparantly the sub categories have no bearing on it, like view, coffee, etc.

Hi Brook, thanks for your info.  I understand the sub catergories okay, but still can't get a grip on the overall rating, where the guest is initially happy with all amenities that the hosts have provided, by giving their hosts 10 for all the questions asked by BDC, and then being marked down to 9.  

Like all hosts, we do our utmost to make everyone feel welcome, relaxed and happy, and so it can be a little soul destroying really.
