Property photos removed arbitrarily

BDC just removed a bunch of photos with no warning and no explanation other than: "check our guidelines".

It turns out that i checked their guidelines and can't understand why.

Facebook did something similar once, flagging an empty sleeping bag picture (used on marketplace) as inappropriate and never answering my questions when asked why. Broken algorithms...

Since BDCs process takes a few days before they remove pics, I'd love to understand what was wrong before uploading them again. It was pics from my property, yard, beach, etc. No humans on them, high quality, etc. Only thing i can think of is the name I used, but it's not shown to users. They were names Abnb1, Abnb2, etc. since i had first uploaded them to Airbnb. But I have the copyrights and i can't imagine this might be the problem.

Is there a way to talk to a human being about this that won't just point me to their guidelines but instead try to either teach me something I did wrong or reinstate my photos? The current situation is a tad bit dystopian or kafkian (your pick).

Simply report to BdC Partner Support , see below 3 methods. They will never see any post on the Partner Hub.

Message or Call BdC PartnerSupport

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.

Thanks. I know they won't see it. Was hoping to see whether other partners have faced similar issues and how they dealt with them.

I'm in touch w the support team. They've been pretty useless so far. I'm sent a bunch of guidelines, which i know quite well.

Thanks in any case.
