Termination of contract
I am the co-owner of the Bundox Group (Bundox Bushcamps, Bundox Safari Co and Bundox Explorer Camp (***). We have realized that Booking.Com has terminated the contract for *** without us knowing the reasons. 1. We have received a notice to an unused email address:
We’re sending this email to inform you that your accommodation agreement with us has been terminated with immediate effect. This decision was made as a result of a breach of article 7.3c (xv) in the General Delivery Terms. THERE IS NO 7.3c (xv) in the GDT, the only other reference might be 7.4 (xv) indicating (xv) Booking.com reasonably believes that action is necessary, a.o. to protect the personal safety or property of Booking.com, Guests or third parties and to prevent inappropriate, unlawful or unprofessional (physical and/or non-physical) behaviour and/or acting in bad faith, fraud, or any other unacceptable activity. During March we had an enquiry for 30 days stay and queried the booking as no deposit was received and suddenly our contract was terminated. Is there no platform where the properties may ask about possible fraudulent bookings? We cannot keep a provisional booking for 30 days without receiving a deposit as we lose other possible bookings.
Our company is already experiencing hardship due to the Hospitality Industry's situation during the pandemic and your platform doesn't support the properties if we cannot get clarity on the problem. We no longer have access to the old Extranet, therefore we cannot determine why our contract was terminated?
Please advise URGENT on this matter.
