Because we're dedicated to being a safe platform for both customers and partners, we've temporarily disabled non-refundable and prepayment policies. As soon as we can give you access to them, we'll let you know.

I have just added a 2nd property and get this

Why?

I want booking.com to handle the payments - take deposits or whatever they do to guarantee guest and payment within my cancellation period

I think I would respond;

"Because we're dedicated to being a safe property for both customers and BDC, we've temporarily disabled availability on your platform. As soon as you give us access to prepayment and non-refundable policies, we shall reinstate availability."

Yup, exactly what Fluff says. You can always use AirBnB, VRBO, TripAdvisor and other booking channels.

Thanks. I’m on airbnb and so much easier. Was hoping to broaden reach but such a clunky website. One property is getting payments the second one isn’t going to be allowed. That’s nonsense. Thanks for the other sites. I’ll try those too.
