Booking Online Payments

Hi! I want to set up my property so that, when guests book, Booking charges them, proceeds to money to me. I don't have a credit card machine, I can't charge people's credit cards in person when they arrive. I have a bank account linked to my Booking Extranet. Now, I am eligible for Online Payment, but when reading the instructions on how to use it, instructions mention POS machine, which I don't have, nor will buy. 

So, is it possible, for Booking to transfer money to my bank account directly, no machines involved?

I seem to reply to the same things every day .....

Send a message to Booking.com from your extranet. Ask them to set up Payments by Booking.com - they take the payment at the time of booking, deduct their fees, transfer the balance to your bank account, just like they do on AirBnB / HomeAway / TripAdvisor. This will stop the fake bookings, no shows etc.

If Booking.com refuse to set this up, switch to AirBnB / HomeAway / TripAdvisor.

Do not try to do things differently to how you would do them on AirBnB - it doesn't work. Every day we see hosts complain about fake bookings, no shows etc.

It seems like you have an incorrect payment method set up in the Extranet. Please go to "Property" tab, choose "Policies" and scroll down to "Guest payment options". Here you will have to set up, that you do not accept credit cards. System will recognize you as "cash only" property.  


Unfortunately, at the moment we do not provide Payments by Booking Bank transfer option in your country, so it won't be yet possible for us to charge guests on your behalf. But it is important for you to set up correct payment methods in your Extranet.
