Booking.com refusing to pay guest bookings via bank transfer

Hi, we have an apartment in Portugal which is marketed via Booking.com among others which was set up by our agent. We opted to take guest payments via virtual credit card but when we came to charge the virtual card, payment was declined by Booking.com. So we changed our guest payment policy on our extranet to payment by bank transfer including existing virtual card payments. We have €790 of unpaid guest rentals due to be paid to us by Booking.com but they are refusing to pay by bank transfer saying they are unable to do this despite it being set up on the extranet. Any advice appreciated.

Hi Robert,

This sounds like miscommunication and misunderstanding of what is actually setup.

you are going to have to phone them to get it sorted.

did you actualy sign up for Online Payments by BdC,?

If I remember right if you activate the opt out of online payments, there should be a wizard or trigger to envoke a payment transfer to clear out all money due t oyou.

Payments by booking would be the better programme to use.

or do directly using a payment service provider and cut BdC out of it.

Friendly reminder : we cannot help with account nor invoice/payout issues here, you must message Partner Support to open a case and then if urgent follow up with a phone call. see contact options below.

Simply report to BdC Partner Support , see below 3 methods. They will never see any post on the Partner Hub.

Message or Call BdC PartnerSupport

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
