Bookings.com owe me a large payout; how can I get an answer?

What do you do when bookings.com hasn't paid you for a reservation that was completed over two months ago?

I have called, sent messages, and now reaching out on this platform.  I continue to get told by lovely customer service officers that because my matter is financial they don't have the capacity to assist me and will transfer my matter to the Finance Dept that will get back to me in two to five business days.

To date, I am 8 weeks past the expected date the money was supposed to appear in my account, and have a transaction receipt in the finance section of the extranet that says the money was indeed transferred - BUT, there is no cash in my account from bookings.com.

Therefore I'm hoping that someone out there reading this has a golden nugget of genuine, reliable advice on how to connect with bookings.com to resolve this important financial issue as soon as humanly possible - or it will end up in the hands of my solicitor.

Jacinta, I had the same issue even before Covid time, not able to get any help from Booking.com Finance Dept. Tried many times and no replies at all. So I have taken lawyer/solicitor to deal with the issue. Then they ignored my lawyer/solicitor's letter by settling my payments immediately. The Booking.com Finance Dept have a big issue with communication.

Since then I have changed the payments collecting by myself instead of Booking.com. I rather to collect the payment with using the 3rd payment party than Booking.com.

Thankyou so much Kathy for your reply, even if the news wasn't great.  I want to avoid taking this to my solicitor but it may be the only option - so then retrieving my money, costs me money. Not impressed.

Hi . This is also happening to me . The first time I contacted them , they referred me back to the website explaining what I already knew. Then they sent me a reply to say that the payment had been made and to send a copy of my statement .  However they have only paid for one of the reservations.  It should have arrived on the 4th March.

No way to phone , always refers back to website and no response from messaging service.

Looks like Ill have to pay for a lawyers letter as well :(

Hi Chalet.  Please, keep in touch and let me know of any progress.  I'm still working on them so will post any positive updates or advice if it comes my way.  Good luck.  Not ideal to be forced to engage legal support.  Regards, Jacinta.

I have had a response and been advised that I can expect payment on 23 March.  Fingers crossed.  Hang in there Chalet, you may get the result you deserve and not have to engage in legal action.

Thankyou . I have had no response , even after sending over all of the details and amounts again . Very slow with communication seems that its far too complicated for the finance department to correlate between  the reservations and the payments .   I'll  try calling again

I have already put the number on this page but booking.com have blocked it. What do you expect from people who retain illegally others funds. They still owe us thousands from last year for absolutely no reason.

Facing the same problem, 8 weeks now.  Account blocked for a security location verification and we cannot get paid.  We understand the need for security checks but Booking.Com are unable to telephone to do the security check at any pre-agreed appointment time, do not ring back when they say they will, and the whole thing goes round in circles.  We have issued a formal complaint and given 7 days for an adequate response and payment.  We then regrettably will be instructing a lawyer.
