Cancel and refund guest

Hi there, 

we have a booking booked in for 17th-19th December, due to tier 3 restrictions the booking is unable to go ahead. I would like to cancel the booking and for you to refund the guest

Since this is only a Partner Community you have to resend your message request through your inbox tab directly to booking.com.

Welcome to the Partner Only  Forum, addressing only us not BdC support team.

Posting an action request  will not result in any action at all, here.

The method I use is:


  • Open their details page
  • At bottom send them notification of intent
  • Include if they prepaid BdC on checkout that once they receive the cancellation notification they must click to confirm and the BdC system will process the refund in full by default.
  • Now up top on right pane, click Request Cancellation
  • Choose option 2, and wait for guest to confirm.
  • If they dont in a timely manner your ownly recourse is to message or phone BdC Partner Support.

1) In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.

2) Select ‘Booking.com messages’.

3) Click on ‘See Contact Options’

Topic : Account

Subtopic : Other, then phone number is revealed on right
