Cash payment request but I am on "payments by Booking.com"

Hi, I have just registered my property and received my first booking : )

I have been searching through community posts and help pages for a possible answer to this, but, to no avail so far.

I have set up Payments by Booking.com on my listing but the customer wants to pay cash on arrival.

How do I stop BdC requesting payment from the customer?

Or, do I just notify finance of the payment arrangement?

are you absolutely sure your application for PbB was actually approved ? 


this is not normally available from Day One.


Your Property > policies page would also need to be set up right for it too.

what shows on that reservation details page under the payment section....?

does it say ' Booking handles payments'??

Hi. Thank you for your interest in my post.

Under guest payment options on my Property Policy page it states "You are using payments by Bookings.com" (this is my preferred arrangement)

Under Reservation Status for the booking the wording is "Booking.com handles your payment"

So I suppose the main thing I am asking is, is there any flexibility to switch between cash on arrival or Payment by BdC on a booking by booking basis.
