I have a small apartment listed in South Africa and feel unsure about the damage deposit.
I will not always see the guest when they depart and has set up a key return box. The only option from Booking.com availble to me is to collect and return the deposit in cash? This is not only impracticable but also unsafe for my guests.
How do other small businesses handle this?
You can collect it any way you want, it has nothing to do with BdC.
Add the methods, process and time limits for the pre payment into the new reservation template.
It's that easy.
