When you get paid will depend on your payment terms with booking.com. Go into Extranet, Finance, Getting paid and it will tell you when you get paid and how often. You won't get an email on guest departure.
This is partner forum not help desk so unable to see your setup to give any more detail.
Have you reviewed the new Finance layout and specifically the Docs & invoices one to see if it shows it as due or if you have a negative balance etc..
