Guest is asking from me, to cancel his reservation, because she had some medical problems and she can not cancel reservation


This is a number of reservation 3648572972.

The guest had a reservation for today 08.07.2022.  Friday.

She texted me that she had some medical problems at the airport, and now she is in a hospital and she can`t request to cancel the reservation.

When I try to do that, I got the message that I should contact customer service, because ("cancellation request must be received at least 48 hours before the guest`s check-in date".)

And I can not choose "mark as a no show".

Can you please help me to cancel this reservation, because it is Friday, it is the weekend, and I could have some other reservation, I already lost a lot of money, because this reservation is from 28 of june.

  • If guest cannot get option on their account or app to cancel its usually because too close to check-in date
  • then they must and should be direct ed to contact Customer Service team with their code and PIN
  • If they fail to do so  then you get to mark it as No Show. as it is not your job to cancel it for them.
  • a quick way to fix inventory , is to alter the inventory count for that room type for just those dates.
  • alternatively phone partner support as last resort.
