The guest did not show up but booking.com still charged me with a fee

On May 29 I got a booking for my apartment through booking.com. Guests never showed up and I have to pay a booking fee. I sent them an sms in Pulse and wrote that the apartment was not ready and that they had to cancel the reservation, but they never answered. On the other hand when I opened my boooking.com account I also linked my bank account to booking.com, and got this email: "This change will take effect on Monday, May 16, 2022", but it never happened and the payment remained in cash , which I did not want. I had two reservations for May, one I normally have to pay but I can not pay the other because no one showed up, my bank account was not linked and I never got another email from booking.com and looked that the booking was scam.

if you want to cancel you must actually click it, no one will be doing it for you.
