If I charge a cancellation fee for a no show, do I get the cash after their next booking?

If someone no shows and I charge them the cancellation fee, does that mean that when they book next they will also have to pay the cancellation fee and that money will be sent to me? Or is it purely up to me to get the fee?

Hi David,

 

that is not a thing, you cant charge a no show if you never get a prepayment nor a valid working VCC/CC, or other method.

Message or Call BdC PartnerSupport ***

 

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’. 
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.

It's really disheartening that BdC doesn't offer all markets online payment facilitation to help protect small hosts.

I think I will stick to Airbnb, even though it reduces my exposure I think I'll come out ahead because I don't have to worry about getting zero money from no shows and also will be far less stressful.
