Invalid credit cards
When will Booking.com take responsible for invalid cards? We are a small business that cannot validate cards or preauthorize cards. Other booking platforms now validate credit cards for the property. We find all our no shows come through Booking.com.
Set in policies PREPAY = ON.
THat should in theory force them to prepay at checkout on website.
THen BdC issue their own VCC, to charge on day 2.
That should prevent it happening again.
VCC is another expense to a small business. Other booking platforms simply verify the credit cards to protect their repatriation as a secure business, or do direct deposit. Remember we don’t get paid, neither does Booking.com.
