Can I change the amount that I charge, and already appears in the booking confirmation?

No ,and you shouldn't when you are not actually set up as occupancy based rate.

this is a common mistake by partners who only setup a listing as whole unit or by room.

you must specificially only have a occupancy based rate in order to auto charge based on number of people.

Else you must honor it how it is.
