No bank details under the financial tab?

I've got a new listing, first time on booking.com. I do not see any option to add a bank to get paid. Searching help using different words always says to go to Bank Details under the Financial tab to set it up. I do not have Bank Details as an option. Am I missing something?

Mine has:


Payments by Booking.com [Active]                Getting paid

We have been collecting payments for all your reservations since XXXXXXXX

 

You will receive a bank transfer four times a month. After your guest checks out, you'll be paid by bank transfer within 10 working days. If you’d like to learn more about Payments by Booking.com, you’ll find a host of helpful resources including FAQs and tutorial videos in the Partner Help Centre.

 

  • Bank Country/Region
  • Bank name
  • IBAN
  • Account holder name

That's the thing. I have no bank transfer set up because I can not find where to do that. I do not have the 'Getting Paid' option under the Finance tab.

I'm the same, no option to add bank details..looks like it is only available in certain countries.

Me neither and worse still I have had people stay and thought that Booking.com were collecting the money and they are not.  Help...

Dear Tim Hornsby! Thanks for posting in the Community!

 

To be able to opt in to Payments by Booking Bank transfer, you need to select that you do not accept credit card payment at your property. You can do so under "Property" tab - "Policies" (scroll down to "Guests payment options"). Only then Payments by Booking option will be offered to you.

I am having this same issue. I went to Policies and I only have 2 options - Credit Card and Cash. I chose cash. I have a US, well Puerto Rico, listing and there is still no "Bank Details" link, nor is there a "getting paid" link on the Finance tab after I took that step. My property is live on your site and a booking already came in. It seems the default terms are cash payments at the end of a stay. This seems absurd. There has to be a way to remedy this (hopefully it's a quick fix). Can you help?

If you didnt enable payments  by bdc then no.

You can't enable payment if there is no 'getting paid' on the finance tab can you?

It seems different method in different countries. Check within your country what they allow.

Unfortunately, some countries do not yet have access to the Payments by Booking system. In this case you will have to receive a direct payment from guests. You can find information regarding guests payment options for your property under "Property" tab - "Policies" (scroll down to "Guests payment options").

dear alan, we owe BDC commission from cash payments from guest. how do we register our account on BDC for future bookings and how to pay the owed commission.

BOOKING.COM shouldn't allow us to set up our listings if we cant use any other option than cash directly from the guests. I am with Airbnb years and it works wonderfully. very surprised booking.com is so behind the game. I will be deleting my properties after this guest arrives...IF this guests arrives seeing as I have no deposit or payment at all.
