No-show

We had a guest book for 2 nights, but did not arrive on the first night. What should i do about reporting it to booking.com as last time this made rooms available that we didnt even have for multiple nights and they would not take responsibility. we made our availability sold out but on their end were still selling rooms for us. then told us this was our problem. ive contacted the guests to ask if they are coming for the second night but dont know what to do about reporting it as a no show.

Hi Sorrento Hotel & Restaurant  You need to mark the guest as a no- show in the extranet.

Follow the steps below to mark a no-show in the extranet:

  1. Log in to the extranet
  2. Click on Reservations
  3. Click on the reservation number you want to mark as a no-show
  4. Click on Mark as a no show

The reservation will then be cancelled, and both you and the guest will receive a confirmation email.

Keep in mind that the Mark as a no show button is only available from midnight on the check-in date until 48 hours after the planned check-in date. After this point, you’ll no longer be able to report a no-show.

This article will tell you more.
