No-Show Payment

Hi! I have the same concern with some many other partners in the Forum as i could realize while reviewing different topics here. Although the No-Show Payment topic is such a sensible question for us, unfortunately i didn't find any explanatory answer on this matter. So, i would be very grateful if someone would say to me on how do i receive the money from No-Show Guests and via booking.com (after i have reported the No-Show to booking.com and i have agreed to apply cancellation cost)? Please note that i am not still enabled to credit card prepayment. I have to know how and when is booking.com paying this money back to me? Thnx!

Hi there,

Thanks for the detailed post. Well, I have a question. Why do you think Booking.com has to pay the money to you? Do you have the Payments by Booking.com activated?

If not, then they will not pay you anything. So depending on your answer, I can continue the conversation in a specific direction.

Keep well!

Hi Leandri! Thank You for your response but let me first answer to you with another question: "- Why do i have to activate a 7 days policy (my case) if my guests cancel their booking 7 days before arrival? Well if you ask it to me i would say for pure economic reasons. Regarding the other question, i have upload my bank details for receiving payouts from booking.com but i'm not sure, anyway, if this payment service is available for my property.

Thnx!

There is more than that: in my No-Show reservations i can see that the Applicable Cancellation Cost shows me the total room price. If booking.com is receiving the money from the guests through their credit cards than the cancellation policy assures me that booking is going to transfer this cost to the respective property. Otherwise, you're saying that i'm activating this policy for bookingcom?

Hi there,

Sorry to taking so long Pashalaura , I somehow missed your response.

Ah you see, if you have the Payments by Booking.com policy activated then you receive the monies regardless of whether or not the guests showed up or not. Because Booking.com will get the money from the guest and pay you out. Are you dead certain this is the policy you have activated though?

You can double check it on your Finance tab as far as I know (I don't work on that one).

If you don't have that selected though there is a thread you might be interested in... I'm just struggling to find it. As soon as I find it again Ill copy it here.

Keep well!
