Non-Existing Customer Service

You cannot book a room on booking.com with an out of date credit card.

You cannot book a room on booking.com without the 3 digit CCV 

And yet we had 2 x no shows in early 2021. When we tried to charge the cards, 1 had no CCV number and one was an out of date credit card.

We lost £360 because of this.

I called booking.com. The last told me they had been experiencing a glitch with their software and that I should send them a detailed report through the extranet, then I can receive a credit note.

10 months on, about a thousands messages on, about 500 telephone calls on ..... they have not sorted a credit note. We were suspended from booking.com because in the end, I paid £360 less on an invoice ... so they just say "you owe us £360.

No No No No, we do NOT!!! You owe me a £360 credit note you bunch of numpties.

It is not possible to speak to their accounts department.

I sent an email to their CEO. An assistant called Laura messaged back pretty much denying any glitch.

Useless power hungry company with feeble staff and no customer service.

I experience 2 month of no payment, so after reading that means I will never see my money? Since they stopped responding ( even automatically)  to my hundreds oh calls and messages I guess so. Shitty company indeed!

If somebody can indicate me a CEO email to write to I would higly appreciate it.

they hardly respond and when they do it is a generic crap that does not help at all. We have so many problems with bookings coming with a vcc and then it turns out to be a guest card declining. not their fault they have said it was a vcc in the booking details and got it wrong...
