The owner cancelled my reservation

Hello, I bought a stay in Miami on a booking site and today the owner wrote to me that he has to cancel my booking and that I will be refunded the amount I paid.

However, the email I received from the booking company only says: request for cancellation by the owner. So the owner asking me to cancel the reservation and it didn't say anything about a refund. In the email they give me the option to cancel the reservation for free or keep the reservation and ignore the email. I don't want to cancel the reservation unless I'm 100% sure my money will be refunded. Because it was expensive and I want my money back if the owner wants to cancel it.. 

What is the correct process when an owner cancels a reservation and should refund their customer or what should I do? Thank you for your reply!
