Payments

Please could someone explain in an understandable way, how and when i find out about payments.  I have 6 bookings from April to August and i have no idea if they pay me or have paid online.  The reservations do not show that they have paid online.  I believe i have set up online payment only but really am not sure!! Do they pay bookings.com who transfer it to me, when does this happen?? how does it happen. I have added my bank details! I have watched youtubes from Bookings.com and googled but still have no idea.  

All i want is for the guests to pay online (as i am not near my place of let)

To know if they have paid

And to know how i am paid

Please put me out of my continued online searching for the answers

Hi Julie 

 

So the crux of it is by default guest :

  • Does not pay on checkout online
  • Does pay directly to you on arrival
  • Deposits are not handled by BdC at all, so you must provide payment method and info to the Guest.

 

Now next steps and decisions:

  • BdC provide two options that make the guest prepay BdC on your behalf when they book online:
     
    • Payments by Boking - fully managed service by BdC.  Has a commission and a payment transfer % fee.
       
    • Online Payments - BdC generates VCC and attaches to reservation but cannot be collected and charged by you until day after check-in at earliest.
       

 


 


Message or Call BdC PartnerSupport

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
