Payments

Are we allowed to take payments in the form of cash or Eft if you don't have the credit card facilities at your establishment?? How do you dweal with commissions??

Yes, you can.  But beware as lots of No shows and late cancellations, so you are unable to collect payment from them.  Find out if you can do 'Payments by booking.com' and booking.com will process everything for you for a small additional charge.  If guests paying in cash booking.com will set up direct debit to collect commission once a month.

In addition to Sharon I would like to add that I BDC facilitates my payments and have no problems for the last three years....Payments are on time safe and secure.

So in a nutshell, even though they indicated that they will be paying on the property, BDC will facilitate payment on the credicard details they supplied ??  So even if I don't collect payment from them BDC will do that on my behalf even if I don't indicate??

No.  You have to arrange with booking.com to have 'Payments by booking.com' in place, otherwise you will need to collect cash or do a bank transfer.
