Rate plans

Hello! I would like to ask you about the rate plans. I created my own individual rate plans depend on the season of the booking. For example i have rate plan from 9 april to 10 may and it cost 9000. From 10 may it will be another rate with another price. But when people trying to book the period from 8 may to 7 june for example (when the rates crossing) the booking shows them that there is no place for these dates. What should i do with that? How to fix it? How to make the system to sum different rates and prices? Thank you in advance

Right lets make this simple and easy to manage :


First your primary Rate Plan , this is typically the nightly rate, and set as a minimum of 2, and the type is usually non refundable.


Then you create a 2nd rate plan flexible and link it to the first rate plan as a % costing , say 20% more than the Non Refundable Rate.


All rate plans are then typically linked to 1 or more Room Types.


Now with either the Calendar in List View or Bulk Edit tool,  you set the date range for the first  'season', select the rate plan, set price, set restrictions etc and apply.

you can even do it by day of the week over a date range if you want to have a different cost per night for Fri -Sat.


Then rinse and repeat for the other seasons.

By only setting it on the primary rate plan for the specific date ranges, the other flexible rate will auto adjust by the % you set.


So you are only changing it in one place per season, and make light work of it and easier to manage .

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.

I changed all the rates i have created. I choose one basic rate and then set the other rates based on the standard one as you told me. I had minimum 5 nights of booking but i tried also option 'without limit of booking'. It still didnt help at all, when im trying to book the dates with different rates I see that the accomodation isnt available on these dates. Should it be like that or im doing something wrong? Thanks a lot

Thank you for reaching out. 


In order for your property to show as available for the dates where the rates may change, it would be best for you to have 1 rate plan set up. 


You will then need to bulk edit the date range depending on the season. In this case from 9 April until 10 May, you can set the rate as 9000. Then you can bulk edit the second season. You will choose the date from 10 May onwards and set this to a different rate. 


If you are connected with a channel manager, you will need to edit the rates there.

In addition to above you can always call your local BDC office and ask them to assist you.

They will fix your problem on the spot...
