Receiving payments
I have just joined booking.com. I want to know how I get paid. From reading material, I can have cash only option. Is it possible to have guests pay my price,then booking.com takes out 15% and other taxes etc. then amount left can be sent to my bank account? Or can a guest pay in cash on arrival? Showing me what I legally have earned? ***
You need to discuss with booking.com whether you can have them Processing your payments as there are some requirements. They charge another approx 2% for this but well worth it. Without it guests can not show up and you have no way of collecting this lost revenue. There are reports under Finance tab which show deductions, so you have a record for tax returns.
