Refund to a loyal guest

Good morning,

We have a loyal guest who had booked a cottage for 2 nights from 19th March 2021.  Due to restrictions imposed by the Government she had to cancel.  I requested a full refund but either I did it incorrectly or this request was not in accordance to our cancellation policy.

 

Is there anything I can do to help this guest get a full refund from Booking.com.

Hi Ruth and welcome to the Partner Community.

You have to contact directly booking.com through your Extranet inbox or call your local BDC office to support you...

Good morning,

 

Thank you very much for your prompt reply.  Whilst I have been a member of Booking.com for a couple of years now I still find it very difficult to navigate the website.  I have failed to find anyway of communicating directly with Boking.com and have never been able to find a phone number for a local office.  Sorry to be a nuisance but could you point me in the right direction please.

Hi Maria, 

I had a situation today where I needed some more info about a booker regarding payment. I couldn't not find a support number easily. 

But problem solved quickly after I just googled it. I typed in:  Name of the platform, support for hosts, country and there is was in a few seconds.

That is the easiest way for me, instead of endless scrolling. Since it wasn't there. 

Now it is appearing on my contact list in my cellphone, as a shortcut. Not wrong either ;)

This is a very helpful information...  Nice to have alternatives...

 

Today is very cold and most unusual for Springtime....but next week temperatures are rising!!!

 

The colors in Autumn are very inspiring....don’t forget to post photos of your amazing accommodation!!!

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
