Returning money

I would like to return money to a guest who cancelled but I have a "strict" cancellation policy. How can I do this? Thanks

Normally you would simply inform the guest to cancel via the BdC website on their account or they can contact CS to initiate the request.


You then receive notification and will you waive the fees for full refund.

Ideally this is the primary method to use.


So until the Guest actually does one of those they have not officially cancelled anything.



Secondary is you initiate it via the details page for their booking, - Request Cancelation.

Choose option 2, wait for guest to get the message and link to click on.

Then the system full refund process starts if they prepaid BdC.

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
