Virtual Credit

I'm new to Booking.com and my 2nd guest paid by credit card, which i didn't even think was possible. Apparently it goes on to a virtual credit card. I have no idea how they work, how to you access them and redeem the money? I tried to call customer services and spoke to someone in spain and then the Phillipines, who weren't sure, so I'm none the wiser. Sure seems difficult to speak to anyone when you have a problem

Hi Jo,

So that means you signed up for BdC online Payments (not Payments By Booking).

THe VCC is attached to the reservation details, but the VCC code remains hidden until day 2 of the stay.

After that its your responsibility to find a 3rd party provider to give you the tools to collect payment from the VCC info. Make sure you tell them you need to be able to collect fomr VCC not just CC, and your merchant type is lodging (BdC, expendia)

e.g. Square, sumup, izettle, etc google for payment providers.
