Waiving cancellation fee

Hi, I received a booking at 4am. Of course, I sleep at night and do not offer night check-ins. Then a few hours later it was canceled. The guest asked to waive the cancellation fee (it was a last-minute non-refundable booking). How can I waive the fees? I do not see this option in the system.

If the guest did it properly using the cancel button on this account, then you get a notification from BdC system to waive and you simply click the link and then mark as approved.

If the lazy ass guest did not do that and instead only sent a message  then they failed to follow a simple procedure, so the next step is to either:

  1. Direct the Guest to logon to their account and click cancel (preferred method).

  2. Direct them to Customer Service on the BdC website to start it.

  3. You click Request Cancel on their details page then choose option 2, system notifies Guest, Guest clicks a link, and its done.

  4. You contact Partner support to mark it as such.

Reminder: Never post action requests, will never be seen nor actioned.
