Accidentaly i registered the same house twice.

Today i registered my house in booking for the first time .Accidentally i did this twice!I have no idea how to fix this..I am so sorry about my mistake.I want to keep my first registration with the No8400504 .Will it take some time before the property is available in the platform? Some kind of confirmation is required?

As long as you know 100% which of the two should be removed, you can follow these steps:

 

  1. Log in to the extranet
  2. Click on Inbox and then click on Booking.com messages
  3. Click on See contact options
  4. Choose Account (password, contacts, channel manager, devices, terminate contract) as the topic and Terminate contract (selling property, temporary and permanent closure) as the subtopic
  5. Click on Terminate contract and then answer all the questions that follow
  6. Read the important information displayed and then tick the box to confirm you acknowledge this and that you’re certain you want to terminate your contract
  7. Click on Terminate my contract
  8. Read the terms and conditions of terminating your contract and then tick the box to confirm you understand these
  9. Click on Terminate my contract again
  10. Read the confirmation message and then click on Close

Hi 

I did the same thing with my property. I followed all the instructions and the second instance of my property is still there. It will not delete.

 I need to thank you again.I choose to close all the dates in the registration that i accidentally made.I will work with my other registration no840054.I already had my first reservations and i am very happy.I will resume my effort to fix it after the end of the season.I am inexperiened and i dont want to make any stupid mistake again.

If you're just getting started I'd recommend focusing on finding your right mix in terms of:

- availability (when can you be booked, how soon/late, for how long)

- policies (how you handle cancellations, how you take payments)

- rates (your base price, any promotions you might be willing to give)

- reviews (how they work, where you can see them, why they're so important)

(I recommend blocking at least an hour to go through all of the above - it's worth it, believe me. Knowing these will help you a lot in the future!)

 

Meanwhile, this is a good place to ask questions and see from others what works (or what doesn't!)

Hello. Can you help me with double reservations issue? I have two separated bedrooms. I have registered both bedrooms. Now, I got double reservations several times. When one of them are booked, I get double room reservation and it makes me so bad, when someone plans their journey like this :(

Hey Keti Getsadze , welcome to the Community!

 

Hope I understand your question correctly - seems that your two available bedrooms are covered as a single listing? I'd suggest separating them clearly, so guests can book either one or the other.

 

You'll have to do that yourself - see How to add, open, close and delete rooms or units and in particular this if you're on a monthly-view calendar:

  1. Log in to the extranet
  2. Click on Rates & Availability and then click on Calendar
  3. In the drop-down box, click on room or unit you want to open or close
  4. Select the dates you want to open and close this room or unit for, either by dragging the two three-lined icons on the calendar itself or by entering the dates into the Start date and End date fields
  5. Under Open or close for bookings, click on Open or Closed
  6. Click on Save. The dates you selected will turn green on the calendar to confirm they are now open and bookable, or red to confirm they are now closed and not bookable.

 

Might also be worth considering that you set up your two bedrooms so they're distinct - even renaming them can help, so you always handle them separately. You can read how to do that in Changing a room or unit type.
