Booking sends me a booking request and then asks me to sign in to see it...AirBnB and VRBO do not do that...why do I have to sign in everytime I get a booking request? It is a pain.
I tried to sign in with my credentials and the Boking .com said it was not good...but then I could log in here...what is going on? Too much BS with Booking .com.....compared to ddoing business with AirBnb and VRBO....o
Hi Jacquie
First take a breath an step back...
As with any system is not the system that is the issue is always the end user.
Naturally if you are not already logged on to Https://admin.booking.com/, you will have to sign in.
The extranet account and the partner hub accounts are NOt one in the same, there is no Single Sign On (thats what its called).
What you could do is this :
use the email address which is likely same one for both as username
then enter password.
When you get an email notification for a new booking it will attempt to open web browser tab page, view, even if you are logged into extranet on another browser tab.
The session credentials on the initial logon will only last for a certain amount of time.
Thats is perfectly normal and standard practise.
So No its not a pain to have to sign in, it shouldbe your norm, and also be security aware.
Its very irresponsible to think this is a pain to have to logon. What you said about your other accounts shows me how lax, and very likely your passwords are weaks and not secure at all, Not a good trait to have in this digital age we live in.
If you find you cannot logon with your email address and password, use the Forgot/Reset my password.
You should then get a email with a link to set new password.
Even better once you sort that install the Pulse app on your smart phone for that email address, so you then get access to the Extranet PIN generator, to make it 2FA secured.
2FA prevents someone using your account without your phone and the pulse app.
Kind Regards
