Booking.Com Ignoring Room Blocked in Wix
Hi,
Today Booking.com has allowed multiple people to book rooms that were blocked for booking within Wix. In other words, within the Wix calendar we have blocked a number of rooms that are not ready for booking but Booking.com has allowed people to book those rooms.
In the attached image the highlighted booking was made (via Booking.com) even though the week leading up to, during and after the booking had already been marked as blocked within Wix
Please confirm that Booking.com is supposed to obey these blocked periods. It seems to obey them in the most part but clearly not always.
Very confused and grateful for any help.

Demystified: Nope you did not booking.com.
Remember a computer can only do what it is told to do, so if you never completed nor setup the availability properly to begin with this WILL happen.
This is a common mistake, misunderstanding of how it all works, you're not the first and wont be the last to make this mistake.
Also WIX is not a channel manager, yes there are plugins on wix etc ,but at end of the day it will only do and is limited by the person who sets it up.
WIX is simply a WYSIWYG based GUI editor to design a webpage/site.
As a former web dev, I strongly advise if you go down this road to invest in a proper webdeveloper or freelancer on fivver.com for example to do it for you.
