Cancellation policies?

I have a standard 2 day cancellation policy, however i am hoping to have a different cancallation policy that i can set up for special weekends like festival weekends....that i can JUSt use for those weekends.

I dont really want it there for normal everyday bookings, but just people that are booking for a festival 1 year ahead!

I have a non refundable option as well, but obviously people booking that far ahead do not want non refundable incase things change!

Does any one know the best way to do this?

Simply you cant, you can do it for different rate plans but that is it.


The workaround would be to either :


  1. create a rate plan , flexible, that is only open for weekends , using the bulk edit tool. 
  2. Alter existing calendar list view for weekends only, and increase/decrease the existing rate.

You can definitely apply policy overrides for certain peak dates. You will need to create the secondary cancellation policy first. Once that is set up, you will need to send a message to your local partner support team detailing which dates need to have the policy overridden. For example "Apply Special conditions policy across 13-14 March 2020".


You can send a message via the Extranet through the Inbox tab > Booking.com messages.
