cleaning fee

I'm just wondering if charging a "cleaning fee" is standard practice on booking.com as it is on other sites?

Hi Peter,


Its not really that clear cut as there are different property types and small : medium: large partners.


You should do what you need. Just remember if you add it to the additional fees, BdC will calculate commision to include it too.


So workaround is to add a photo of cleaning products, and put text on top saving cleaning fee payable on arrival of X EUR for example.

  1. In the extranet, go to the ‘Inbox’ tab.
  2. Select ‘Booking.com messages’.
  3. Right Pane - Click on ‘See Contact Options’
  4. Choose Account
  5. Now choose Other
  6. Then at bottom , See all contact options, and click Message or Call
  7. As there is no one number for all partners, the number for your nearest BdC Partner Support is then revealed.
