Covid Immunisation Requirement Not Met - Who Pays?
We have a guest (family of 4) booked to stay at our bnb this weekend (school holidays Down Under). It is a requirement of booking with us that all adults 18+ must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination prior to check-in. This policy was implemented in early August, stating that from September onwards, vaccination would be required.
Guests arriving this weekend have advised they are not vaccinated. They booked according to our terms and conditions on September 1. I am reluctant to cancel their booking myself as it seems likely they would get a full refund, when our cancellation policy in place if the guest cancels is 50%.
I have called partner support, who advised they will check into the situation and call me back, but rather inclined to think no-one will. The guest agreed to our terms and conditions at the time of booking but now is non-compliant.
Any advice from fellow partners on how you would handle this?
