We have as well. Just a name on another Booking with no further information. Tried and tried to contact Customer Service via the IN BOX but the required tags are not there. Very frustrating indeed!!!!!! Anyone have any ideas to share about this?
For what it's worth, we had a similar issue a couple of days ago, albeit with reservations made on our website. It appears that our Channel Manager had a technical bug.
Perhaps check with your Channel Manager if they caused the issue.

How does one get hold of such a person. I agree that it seems to be a glitch of some sort as nothing further has eventuated as to details or similar for the second name.
A Channel Manager is like an online reservations book. It is also called a PMS (Property Management System). With a Channel Manager you can hook up your own website reservations, all OTAs (online travel agencies); manage room rates from one centralised system.
It is possible to work without a Channel Manager/PMS but it would make your life harder.
To contact Booking.com, on a computer, go to admin.booking.com, then go to Inbox and choose Booking.com messages.
On the right hand side of the page, it should state the phone numbers of your support team and your local contact (if you're lucky to have these, we don't in the country we live in).
You could also compose a message. Response times have been very good recently.

We are a very small player in Savusavu, Fiji but seem to have the same amount of issues and as a new comer to the system it is very confusing at times. Thank heaps.

We had the same problem. The Calendar Sync is totally not working. I am trying to get the BDC link to re-enter it into another booking site and now I can't find it. Here is an Owner Customer Service number for North America. +1 (470) 363 2501
We all need to keep calling them to push them to get this fixed!!
Now that is a real problem. What a mess up. We are only being plagued with 'fake' bookings for one night, but they are pretty easy to spot as there is not record with BDC and at the moment we are only one small Cottage. Just a pain in the bum.
this booking number was for a stay on 5/18 for 1 night for 2 rooms, there is some type of payment error, that very well could be on the hotel's part, I needed

Double bookings! I am in the process of sorting out a quadruple booking!!!!!
